I figured Brent would return, but I was surprised at how soon.

The light of the dawning sun was just beginning to break and, considering how late the party in the Big Top had gone, the entire camp was hours from waking when a soft knock came on my camper door.

At first I thought I must be dreaming, but then I heard some at my window, left open to enjoy the cool night air. “Psst, Ryan. Ryan you awake?”

Unsure if it was the voice, or the tenor which woke me – hungry with lust – but I could feel my grin pressing into my pillow. If Brent was back this soon, I had truly done well the night before.

“Just a sec,” I whispered back out the window.

I stopped briefly in the small bathroom, more a closet than bathroom, and sloshed down some mouthwash, checked my hair, and adjusted my rapidly growing member underneath my pajama bottoms. Admiring my hairy chest and strong physique, I had to admit I looked good in the morning. Too bad so few men got to see me then.

Opening the door I let Brent in along with a brisk wind of cool pre-dawn air sending goosebumps on end and causing my nipples to harden further.

“How was the party?”

“Fine, fine, I just, I wasn’t sure you’d be - up.”

I noticed Brent looked at my crotch when he spoke. Surreptitiously, but not fast enough that I didn’t notice.

“Yeah, what can I do for you?”

“Well, my - my campers heater’s out, I was wondering if I could crash with you for a little bit.”

I arched an eyebrow. “Sure. I can get you a blanket.” I motioned to the couch.

“Oh that’s okay, I don’t want to put you out, I’ll just, crawl in bed back there. I mean, if that’s okay.”

It surprised me Brent was being so forward, but I wasn’t about to second guess it. “Sure.”

Brent threw himself on my bed, and I closed the bedroom door before crawling in next to him, pulling a pair of heavy blankets up around us as Brent shivered. Personally, I thought the brisk night air was wonderful, but I’d grown up in the north. I slept better when it was freezing outside and I was under several layers of blankets.

His shivers finally subsided. Brent and I simply lay there for sever minutes, both of us pretending we were falling asleep. Then I heard rustling and rolled over too look at him. He paused, his shirt half over his head.

“Now I’m too warm! Hope this is okay.”

I smiled. “As long as you don’t mind me watching.”

Brent grinned then pulled his shirt all the way off. I looked at his smooth chest underneath the blankets, the small nipples even more erect than my own.

As he lay back down on his pillow, he looked at me, his eyes wide awake. “I - I hope you don’t mind this.”

“You keep saying that.”

“Sorry.”

“It’s really okay. I’m good with - whatever,” I said.

“Are you - sure?”

“Sure.”

“Okay.”

For a moment we just looked at each other across the pillow.
